Abstrala (alpha demo)
Abstrala is a game protoype that's best enjoyed with a gamepad controller but can be played with the keyboard
Chase the glowing orbs. Different orbs have different avoidance strategies. This game features adaptive difficulty. The more orbs you capture, the harder it gets. If they keep escaping you, the game gets easier. You can also adjust the difficulty progression to make the game stay easier or harder while still being adaptive.
Plunging into the center planet or flying off system will take you to another system
Use Left stick (or arrow keys) to steer your ship
Use Triggers (or W and S keys) to accelerate and stop
Use Right stick (or A and D keys) to roll if you want
Use Right bumper (or Spacebar) to warp
Some settings are available although there's still no menu:
Use - = to adjust progression of adaptive difficulty
Use M to toggle music on/off
Use I to Invert Y
Use X to swap controls for roll and yaw
Use B to activate an experimental audio guide
Use O to reset score and difficulty
Audio guide to orbs:
Higher pitch means target is higher.
Stereo panning indicates left right direction to target.
Louder volume means target is in front.
