I love games and math. I'm trying to teach myself Unity. I hope to share some early prototypes soon.
Right now I'm focused on audiogames. I find the format fascinating. At the same time liberating and very challenging.
Audio or video, I like peaceful games. For one, non violent games free of combat, cruelty, or exploitation. But also, games that don't punish the player for lack of skill or practice. Games that don't have a defeat condition. Games that always reach their end, no matter how clumsily you play. Games where you can explore at depth or just run through without worrying about getting stuck of seeing an unexpected Game Over screen.
That said, a game should be challenging and reward commitment and intention. Games where careless play reaches the game's conclusion but only purposeful and attentive play lead to top marks and the discovery of every little secret.
